My husband, the unwittingly enabler

I love my husband very much, never as much as when he decides to make me happy ( even though he obviously don't get this particular obsession of mine) by giving me nail polish gift certificates for birthday and Christmas:

My birthday present arrived the second week of january:

360, Locavore, Orbis Non Suficit, Mismas

And then a couple of days later, my christmas present:

Ozotic 505, Hits Dionisio, Hits Tango, Glitter Gal 10 to Midnight

Lovely Lynnderellas and Glitter Tamer (looking forward to see how good this works, despite the stink)

He shakes his head and smiles wryly but still lends a listening ear to my polish related ramblings...I tell you, that is true love, that is!!

...it's been a while

and I haven't been updating on my nail polish. Mostly because I am in between cameras aka trying to decide whether my dslr takes better polish pictures than my mobile phone - or if I need to purchase a smaller point-and-shoot camera, that will give me the flexibility of the small size of the phone camera and at the same time giving me better pictures. Seems like an easy choice :)

Only problem: I can not afford it at the moment.

In the mean time here are some pictures of polish:

This is Rescue Beauty Lounge Bikini Bottom and Purple Haze. I am really enamored of Ji Baek who is the creator, she is a wonderful person who is really appreciative of all the fans of her polish line. A great number of them resides at RBL's facebook page where Ji several times daily updates her status, answers questions (when not answered by the ReBeLs*) and just all around comments on peoples comments on the wall

RBL polishes are perhaps those that I own more of than any other brand, which is due to the high quality and pigmentation. Though Bikini Bottom is supposed to be sheer I am still surprised how well it covers in just two layers. And the formula is ace on these babies, they glide on like butter - which is true for every colour I own. They are a bit expensive to purchase since I pay for international shipping which cost the same as one polish - and why I always do bulk order. Between that and the ridiculous amount of money I pay in import tax and -fees, they are almost as expensive as Dior and Chanel - but I still think they are worth every single penny.

If you would like to try them out, you can purchase them online here.

*A term coined by one of the hard core fans KaydiKat, who also got to get her dream polish made by Ji.
