Just take a look at this:
The magnet took bites off my pinkie and index finger - and decided NOT to work on my middle. |
Pardon the slightly blurred pics here - I could not get my camera to play nice either...
Essence Pixie Dust and Magic Wand |
I think the only reason why my thumb got a better pattern than the rest was because I accidentally put a layer of the gold magnetic polish on top of the lavender.
So have you tried magnetic nail polish yet? Did it work for you?
I love my Icing magnetix, but my friend can't get the hang of them! I think it takes some practice...the end result is pretty and it's worth the effort!
SvarSletReading other blog posts about magnetics I also get the feeling that it matters how well the magnet has been designed - the Essence magnet is really weird to work with. And it is good to know that practice is the key word, as with so many other nail art projects :D
SletI haven't tried magnetics yet, and I'm not sure I'm ever going to. It doesn't really speak to me, to be honest.
SvarSletI've got 3 different brands of magnetic polishes and they all work fine, you need to make sure the first coat is dry and apply a thick second coat and place the magnet and close to your nail as possible. I also find the darker colour magnetic polishes work better than the lighter colour one, feel free to check out my blog on magnetic polishes. Don't be disheartened, you just need to find the right polish, your nails are lovely x
